Star Air A/S is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Maersk Aviation Holding. It provides contract scheduled and ad hoc air transport of courier mail and cargo. Its principal activity is contract flight operations for UPS which has its European distribution base in Cologne, Germany. Spare aircraft and crew are kept on stand-by in Cologne.
