Amerijet International entered the air carrier business with one leased airplane in 1974 as an air taxi operator. It now operates a fleet of all-cargo Boeing 727-200 aircraft to provide scheduled contract and common carriage service between North America, the Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America with a minimum of 30 scheduled flights per week, as well as single flight charters worldwide. It meets Federal Aviation Administration and industry standards for shipping and handling hazardous materials and is authorised to operate with Class A exemption.
